Kiner Design Group

Kiner Design Group was founded in 2009 by Mark Kiner AIA, APEC Architect after almost 30 years of being a Principal with several of the United States’ most well known and respected Planning and Architectural firms. Mark started his career in the late 70’s with Peridian International working on planning and landscape architecture projects throughout the US and Europe. Upon graduation from California Polytechnic University, he joined RNM Architects and Planners where he spent 17 years working on projects from entry level housing to large scale resorts in the US and the Pacific Rim. In 2000, Mark opened the Southern California office for BSB Design, where as Partner in Charge he helped direct 3 offices and 80+ team members in developing planning and architecture projects for attached and SFD housing as well as vacation ownership and destination resorts throughout the West Coast, Middle East and Pacific Rim, including China, Korea and the Philippines.

Using this experience, regional sensitivity and multicultural sensitivity Kiner Design Group is currently working on several long term projects including helping American Samoa develop a Tourism Master Plan for their sphere of influence. The plan will be a melding of Economic Research, Master Planning and Visioning.
